YUKI TAKAHASHI


He is a japanese grand prix motorcycle road races. He makes his debut in MotoGP class, with the Scot Racing team. He has spent his entire career with honda.

Takahashi san developed his talents through an HRC Racing Scholarship, a program which has supported many young japanese riders and aims to help into the top level of competition.
He made a wild card appearance in 125cc World Championship in Japan in 2001. Between 2002 and 2004 he made four wild card appearances in his home country in the 250cc World Championship, finishing in top five in all four.

He became a fulltime 250cc World championship rider in 2005, finishing 11th overal on the honda. For 2006 and beyond honda did not develop their 250cc two stroke racing machine, but Takahashi was still able to take two wins and 6th overall. 2008 he took three podium finishes, and qualified eight and finished sixth at his h6e race. In his final 250cc appereance at Valencia he qualified 10th, but rode a great race and finished second. He ended up in 5th in final standings. His best performance since he joined the World Championship.

For the 2009 season he has been handed a MotoGP spot for Team Scot Honda with Gabor Talmachi. But, he ended his races after accident in Catalunya. Takahashi must rest for 3 months and finising this 2009 season. He ended up in 12th place in Jerez. His best performance since he joined the MotoGP class









Yuki Takahashi disputed his first race at the age of seven on a mini bike and one year after, in 1992, he conquered his first victory. He raced in the 50cc Mini Moto National Championship until 1998, while in 1999 he moved up to 125 categories and took part of regional Championship. Always with Honda machines, in 2001 he achieved second place in 125cc National Championship and in the same year he made his debut in the 125cc World Championship at Motegi, but he didn’t finish the race. In 2002 he moved up category and finished seventh in the Japanese Championship with a Honda 250cc and he also conquered third place at the Pacific GP in Motegi. In 2004 he clinched the 250cc Japanese Championship and in 2005 raced his first season in the World Championship with the Scot Racing Team. In 2006, after only two races, he had a serious accident that compromised the results of the 2007 season too. But, after the good season 2008, the Scot Racing Team declares the young Japanese rider ready to face the MotoGp class.
